Race Director
News:
Jeff Jones will not be race director at Newton Kart Klub in
2008 ..I have accepted the position of youth director and
tech director for the 2008 season ... This means i will be
director for all youth classes (kid kart,putt putt,jr animal
and jr 1 and 2 classes).
I also will be able to devote much more time to teching all
classes . Tech will be more strict this year and each class
will be checked every race nite.
I am looking forward to working with all the kids and
parents and having more time to do proper tech for all
classes . I welcome any input or suggestions.

Newton has also purchased a AMB computerized transponder
scoring and timing system to bring the professionalism of
the NKK racing program to highest level.
Many new things
are happening and many things are staying the same for 2008,
we have listened to the Racers & Sponsors during the off
season and want to continue to hear from you during the
upcoming 2008 season on what's good / what's bad and what we
might be able to do better to keep improving the Newton
Track and the programs it supports or provides.

Every racer
must have a Transponder - Transponder rental fee $5.00 1
class ( $7.00 for 2 classes $9.00 for 3 and up classes per
event ) , anyone renting a transponder will need to have a
transponder holder $10.00
