SPECIFICALLY NOTED.
THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO MACHINING OR
ALTERATION OF PARTS UNLESS SPECIFICALLY NOTED.
HAVE
FUN!!! This is intended to be a class of racing with a low
budget with minimal work required to get started. It is up to
each and every one of us to maintain the integrity of this
class. If removing a motor from the box and knocking out the
governor and low oil sensor, drilling the jet and add a few bolt
on's is not what you consider racing this is not the class for
you. If there is every any questions feel free to contact us,

Class Structure
Clone Adult Combined Age 16 & Up 390lbs. Any header with
muffler
Clone Jr. I Age 8-11 years 265 lbs. .500 inch
maximum intake
restrictor plate. Spec exhaust required.
Clone Jr. II Age 12-15 years 300 lbs. .550 inch maximum
intake
restrictor plate. Spec exhaust required.
SPEC EXHAUST for Jr I & II is any single stage one piece header
made from .750”
O.D steel tubing allowed with BS tube
style muffler part# 89966 or it’s aftermarket equivalent (ex:
rotary power) installed at the end of the pipe. The tube style
muffler may either be welded or thread fit to the pipe end. The
entire exhaust pipe including muffler is 14” max length and 10”
min length.
CLUTCH-All classes are to run a DRUM STYLE
CLUTCH.
FLYWHEEL-There is to be ABSOLUTELY NO alteration
to the stock cast flywheel if used! Doing so will jeopardize the
integrity of the flywheel and will render it to become a SAFTY
issue.
Use of the after market Aluminum Billet flywheel
is recommended, but not mandatory at this time.
The first
instance of a cast flywheel coming apart at NKK will be the last
instance because it will then become MANDITORY for the billet
flywheel. The cost of the Billet is about $100, But the cost of
SAFTEY has no limit.
CARBURETOR/FUEL Pump gas only 87 or
93 octane (NO ADDATIVES). It is HIGHLY recommended but not
required the stock fuel tank be replaced with a floor mount
tank. If floor mount tank is used a pulse type pump is allowed
and may be pulsed only from either the crankcase or valve cover.
Aftermarket air filter adapter and air filter allowed. Main jet
and idle jet are non tech. Stock emulsion tube must be used and
unaltered.
NKK Rule of Black Numbers on White Panels will
be enforced! This is for the purpose of visibility for the score
keepers. NKK hand scores each lap,
and counting every
kart every lap is near impossible if they cannot read the
numbers. |
