PIT PASSES
FOR ALL RACES
Pit
Passes $15.00 Any one in the pit area after drivers meeting
without a pit pass will be asked to leave the pit area or
charged a $20 fee for a pit pass.
Pit Spots
Parking spots
will be $5.00 per race instead of a season fee. We will still
keep them as a reserved spot.
Regular Race Fees:
Putt-Putt $20.00 Jr. Class Fees $35.00 Adult
Class Fees $35.00
Series Number Fee: $10.00 for first
class and $5.00 for each additional class
There must be 5
racers in the class with total of 40 total entries to qualify
for 1st place jacket at banquet.
RACING EQUIPMENT
1.Full coverage Helmet and gloves. Clear or amber colored
face shield only. 2. Long sleeve coat and pants (vinyl,
leather, or denim), high top shoes or boots, neck collars
mandatory. NO HOODED SWEATSHIRTS. No large holes in clothing.
3. 6” numbers – 1 or 2 digit. NO LETTERS. BLACK #’S ON WHITE
PANELS, ALL 4 SIDES. Kage Kart #’s must contrast with kart
color. Light #s on dark or dark #s on light. 4. Karts must
have full floorboards. 5. Tires – Open Tire / Prep Allowed
6.Width & Length as per I.K.F. 7.Required
equipment: Chain guard, clutch, no scrub brakes allowed. 8.
Noise level must be approved by N.K.K. 9.Third
bearing support. Required 2Cycle only. 10. Follow I.K.F.
Manual if not spelled out in N.K.K. Rules. 11. Weights must
be securely mounted (subject to NKK approval). No body or pocket
weight. NKK will not furnish weight. 12. Weights to be
painted white and have kart # painted on them. 13.Putt
Putt, Kid Kart, and Jr I Classes require chest protectors.
MANDITORY. 14. No hair outside of helmet unless tucked inside
of neck brace and coat.

THESE RULES BELOW!
RULES 1. Please help keep pit area clean. (THANK
YOU!). 2. No one in the pits without pit pass. 3. You must
be signed in before beginning of drivers meeting; otherwise, you
will start at the rear of both heats. 4. No hot laps after
races have started. *5. Hold up left hand when leaving racing
surface. 6. There will be no rough driving. All passing is to
be done clean. (PLEASE) *7. No driving kart in pit area –
shut off engine at scales to be weighed. 8. NO fighting in
the pits – IMMEDIATE SUSPENSION FOR SEASON. 9. No arguing or
swearing with officials IKF (114) Penalties. (NO MIDDLE
FINGERS). *10. Kart being lapped, observe Flagman. 11.
Your kart must be running and on the track BEFORE red light on
starting grid comes on or you can’t compete in that race.
The green light means start engines. Red light means stay off
track. Per IKF 406.1. 12. All karts must be lined up on
starting grid in proper order side by side with driver in kart
ready to go on previous race white flag lap. 13. Start of
Race Per IKF 407.3 – 407.10. 14. Karts involved in an
accident go to the rear of race. If you get upside down, you
will not be allowed to restart in that race. a. Motors will
not be restarted after kart has left the starting grid and
entered the track. b. Motors will not be restarted during a
caution UNLESS driver was instructed by an official to shut it
down.(will not be restarted if kart is declared unsafe to
operate due to damge) c. No working on karts on the track
during a yellow or red flag. 15. All ties, decided by draw at
sign-in. 16.Winners will take a lap with checkered flag
(Main only, time permitting). 17. No one will be allowed in
the infield except officials or by permission from NKK,
exception Putt-Putt & Kid Kart classes. *18. No crossing the
track during races (The life you save, may be your own). 19.
One kart per person, per night, per class: a. the person
that drives the heats must drive the main. b. Persons may
drive more than one class, within legal limits. c. Persons
cannot change classes after races have started. d. A kart may
be substituted due to mechanical failure, within legal class
limits. With track directors approval. e. Entry fee must be
paid per class entered. f. One driver per kart number. g.
No substitution of karts after race has started. 20.
Alcoholic beverages will not be consumed by anyone, which
includes participants and crews before or during racing program.
21. All people in pits must stay behind fences or warning flags.
22. For safety, driver and kart participation after accident
will be decided by officials. 23. If you are the cause of 2
Yellow Flags, you will go to the infield for that race. 24.
Flagstand, exit gate & scoring building are off-limits.
Exception: Putt-Putt parents & Red Flag emergency.
*PAY SPECIAL ATTENTION TO THESE SAFETY RULES.
PROTEST PROCEDURES
Protest must be filed no later than five (5) minutes following
final event of said class. Protester must post $50.00 before
tear down & limit 2 motors per protester. If engine is legal,
$30.00 is awarded to karter and $20.00 to NKK. If not legal,
karter will be banned from the track until $25.00 fine is paid.
Plus: 100 points will be taken from accumulated points to date.
If they do not have 100 points, points accumulated to date will
be taken. Awards received on that night must be forfeited.
$30.00 will be returned to the protester and $20.00 to tech
person. Kart engine will be removed from kart by owner and
disassembled by Tech Committee. If adequate tech personnel are
not available, motor will be secured by NKK and teched later. If
a karter does not agree to this, he will be considered illegal.
Protest must be registered with Tech committee. Protester must
have kart in said class. TECH COMMITTEE: Newton Kart Klub.
GENERAL NOTES
Newton Kart Klub reserves the right for track teardowns. All
track teardowns will be at karter’s expense. Newton Kart Klub
reserves the right to revise rules to benefit karting and/or the
Newton
Kart Klub. All decisions or interpretations of the rules will be
final per Newton Kart Klub Rules Committee. NKK Series race
Numbers are $10.00 for first class and $5.00 for each additional
class - No questions will be directed to judges stand.
POINTS Points
and number belong to “Driver”. Points will be awarded in
following manner: A Main – 30 Points Heats – 12 Points
You will receive points for position placed after you have taken
the green flag lap, unless disqualified. Points listed are
for 1st place, reduced 1 point per position thereafter. You will
receive 1 point for signing in. (Points do not transfer
between classes). All questions should be directed to Points
Committee. IKF Motor spec’s & classes at all IKF races.
IKF specs will be used at all NKK races. IF YOU DON’T MAKE
WEIGHT IN THE HEATS AND MAIN EVENT, YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE POINTS
FOR THAT RACE.
